  Works exactly like the last RC combo that I bought from Green Gecko Workshop. Phenomenal performance over large distances that is perfect for any LEGO Technic builder who needs the classic Power Functions (note: not "Powered Up") connections and remote controls but with more powerful gear. A+ seller!

  It's on the pricey side, but worth the money for a truly reliable wireless connection for the electrical motor system of the interlocking brick toy that we all know and love. The 100 metre range is easily as advertised, and the 2.4GHz connection ensures operation even through multiple physical obstructions (ie: walls, doors, room dividers, etc). The only true difference between the bundled controller and a genuine "IR" controller is the soft-press faux-analogue control sticks are shallow/clicky.

  Patience is required. Items from this vendor are not coming from some other part of the USA, so it takes time for them to arrive, longer than computer shipping estimates. I tested the receiver and the controller once I received both of them today in my USPS mailbox. Both worked as expected. I'm looking forward to installing these items into a tow truck set to see how far the range is, as the infrared it comes with does not perform outside in the sun well. If success, I will order more.
